The Appalachian Telemark Association (ATA) is a loose confederation of free-heel skiers whose purpose is to promote the sport through social gatherings, instructional workshops, and races. ATA was founded in 1998 and is celebrating its 13th anniversary this year. ATA events are usually held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

TELEPALOOZA 2012! ATA is the primary organizer of Telepalooza, an annual two-day telemark festival at Seven Springs. The 2011/2012 season marks the 10th year for Telepalooza. Telepalooza 2012 will be held on January 28/29. The cost for two days is $129. A single day is $89. Register before Jan 22 and get a free 10th anniversary T-shirt. T-shirts will be available for $18 at the event. Thanks to WPSC and our Sponsors for their generous contributions and support!

As a member of the Western PA Ski Council (WPSC), ATA members can participate in WPSC-sponsored events including races, gate training, social events and ski trips. WPSC is the primary financial sponsor of Telepalooza.
