The Appalachian Telemark Association (ATA) is a loose confederation of free-heel skiers whose purpose is to promote the sport through social gatherings, instructional workshops, and races. ATA was founded in 1998 and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. ATA events are usually held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

ATA is the primary organizer of Telepalooza, an annual two-day telemark festival at Seven Springs. The 08/09 season marks the 7th year for Telepalooza. Thanks to WPSC and our Sponsors for their contributions!

As a member of the Western PA Ski Council (WPSC), ATA members can participate in WPSC-sponsored events including races, gate training, social events and ski trips. WPSC is the primary financial sponsor of Telepalooza.
