ATA trail clearing/hike 1-3pm. Meet at Grey Rocks ampitheter, in the lower parking lot by the pond. New trail to be cut so that it skis from top to bottom.

ATA Tailgate - Shrimp on the Barbie in North Face parking lot. ATA to provide shrimp, clam fettuccini, soft drinks and beer. Please bring something to share. Drinks and munchies start at 4pm. Food once the grill is hot!

WPSC "Learn to Ski, Board, or Telemark Day". Ages 7 and older. Level 1 ski/tele $12, Level 1 Snowboard $22, Level 2 Ski/Tele $22, Snowboard $32. Price includes, lesson, lift ticket, rental equipment. Times are 10am, Noon, 2pm. Must request coupon at ski school desk. You must be a member of a ski club to get this benefit. A roster of names will be provided. To sign up for this event you must call Kapper at 724-325-6328 or e-mail Kapper, names, number attending, what type of lessons and what level. You must also be a current member of ATA. This is a once time deal per season that the council puts together at this ridiculously low price to introduce people to winter sports. Space is limited.

Cost: $99 both days, $79 for either single day.

Get a $10 discount if paid one week before the event.

PSIA members who are not teaching in this event but are attending get a $25 discount.

NOTE! Price does not include a lift ticket. IF YOU NEED A LIFT TICKET for this event, come to the registration table in the main ski lodge and we will hook you up with a discounted ticket.

Top-notch PSIA examiners and high level instructors teach clinics for all ability levels from first timers to advanced. Clinics at 9am and 2pm on both days.

WPSC Ski Rally. 1:30pm. Cost is $10, kids 12 and under FREE. The Ski Rally is a poker run on skis. Fun, fun, fun. Teams of two to four people. Awards party with food and prizes, a pair of skis to be given away. Register in the morning in the main ski lodge.

WPSC Council Cup Race on Avalanche. Noon. WPSC clubs battle for bragging rights in the Foggy Goggle. Club teams of 5 men and 2 women race on any gear. Cost is $10, but ATA will pick up your race fee for this event if you are a member. The final team total is based on the best 5 men and 2 women's times, so it is advantageous to have many times to pick from to have a chance on getting our name on that plaque!
